The George Washington Carver Community Enrichment Center (GWCC) is excited to once again open its doors for a beloved holiday tradition — the 4th Annual Santa for Seniors Christmas Event, taking place Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 3:00 PM. This festive gathering has become a heartwarming highlight of the season, honoring the seniors who have shaped, uplifted, and strengthened our community for generations.
This year’s celebration promises an afternoon filled with laughter, fellowship, and holiday cheer. Attendees can look forward to fun games, exciting prizes, and delicious refreshments, all thoughtfully planned to create a joyful and relaxing atmosphere for our cherished elders.
One of the event’s most popular attractions returns once again: photos with Santa and the Grinch. Seniors will have the chance to capture festive memories with two of the season’s most iconic characters—one jolly and one mischievous—making it a perfect keepsake for families and loved ones.
The Santa for Seniors event is more than just a holiday party; it is GWCC’s heartfelt tribute to the men and women whose wisdom, resilience, and spirit continue to inspire younger generations. The Center is honored to host an afternoon dedicated to celebrating the people who have given so much joy, love, and leadership to the Asheboro community.
