Asheboro, NC — As part of its commitment to civic engagement and community empowerment, the George Washington Carver Community Enrichment Center will host a Candidates Forum on Tuesday, September 17th at 6:00 PM. The event will take place at the Carver Center, located at 950 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Asheboro, NC.

Engaging Voters and Elevating Community Voice
All individuals running in Asheboro’s upcoming municipal elections have been invited to participate in the forum. This nonpartisan event is designed to give voters a chance to hear directly from the candidates, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the issues shaping the future of Asheboro.
“We believe an informed community is an empowered community,” said Clyde Foust Jr., President of the Carver Center. “This forum is an opportunity for residents to engage directly with those seeking to lead our city, and to raise the issues that matter most to their neighborhoods and families.”
A Platform for Equal Representation and Open Dialogue
The forum will be moderated to ensure every candidate has equal time to speak. Community members will also have a chance to submit questions in advance or at the event.
